Description

 

Job purpose

 

To provide assistance with Integrated Scheduling for 8-koi; a diverse Florida based service and consulting company that has been providing outstanding results for our clients for over 13-years.

 

Duties and responsibilities

 

  • Develop, update and maintain Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) for dozens of projects with key project milestones and 100s of tasks in support of the Eastern Ranges (Cape Canaveral and Kennedy Space Center Launch Complex)
  • Conduct critical path analysis and schedule risk analysis
  • Track, monitor, and analyze the integration of multiple project schedules that could impact project execution
  • Identify dependencies, issues and conflicts between tasks necessary to achieve key events or milestones, as well as their strategic impacts
  • Generate reports from the IMS depicting scheduling conflicts and issues and brief stakeholders and senior management
  • Provide impact analysis of schedule changes, identify schedule variances and opportunities, and proactively develop mitigation strategies for the Project Management Team
  • Support Range and Contractor meetings with IMS data
  • Create ad hoc schedules as required for special projects
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

 

  • Shall possess a Bachelor’s Degree in business or engineering discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Possess a minimum five years Scheduling experience
  • Experience drafting, editing, and tracking scheduling products with minimal direction
  • Experience in providing detailed analysis of project schedules and critical path reduction options
  • Strong Microsoft (MS) Office Project skill level and strong MS Excel skill level
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Project Server creating custom views and filters for specific milestones and tasks. Experience writing VBA macros is a plus
  • Ability to multi-task and work independently, and have a sharp attention to detail
  • Project Management Institute (PMI) PMP or PMI-SP Certification, preferred
  • The flexibility to work occasional non-duty hours or on weekends to support specific project or mission requirements
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Security Clearance, which includes U.S. citizenship or U.S. naturalization
  • Valid U.S. Driver’s License required
  • Temporary telecommuting available

Working conditions are within a normal office environment.

 

Physical requirements

 

Normal office environment mobility; sitting, walking, bending, stooping, standing, lifting a maximum of 25 pounds (greater than 25 pounds requires a two-person lift), turning, pushing. Normal office dexterity, to include; reaching, handling, grasping, to include typing/keyboard, and phone use.
