Job purpose

To provide assistance with Navy Drug and Alcohol Deterrence Branch requires administrative support of the Drug and Alcohol Deterrence Program mission for 8-koi; a diverse Florida based service and consulting company that has been providing outstanding results for our clients for over 14-years now.

Duties and responsibilities

• Respond to help desk inquiries in support of the Alcohol and Drug Management Information Tracking System (ADMITS) and Internet Forensic Toxicology Drug Testing Laboratory (IFTDTL) web application. Assist users in gaining access to the system and troubleshooting problems with access including password resets, account privileges and using the application.
• Provide technical support assistance to Marine Corp Drug Detection and Deterrence on updates and maintenance of Marine Corp web portal.
• Import Marine Corps Drug and Alcohol Reports and respond to Marine Corps requests for reports and statistics concerning alcohol and drug trends.
• Perform ad-hoc Structured Query Language (SQL) queries of the Marine Corp database for alcohol related incidents, DUIs and drug incidents
• Provide technical assistance to create Product Backlog Items (PBIs), Acceptance Criteria, Link PBIs to bugs, Link PBIs to test cases, Link PBIs to task and bugs and. Link impediment to PBIs, task and bugs
• Provide administrative assistance to develop a Functional Requirement Documents
• Perform ad-hoc SQL queries of the Admits database to obtain both Navy and Marine Corp statistical data on drug and alcohol trends. Respond to requests to correct erroneous data within ADMITS and IFTDTL databases by utilizing the Structured Query Language (SQL) or coordinate with system hosting facility to insert, update and delete commands, data and run report.
• Respond to help desk inquires for WEBDTP and DTP Lite. Assist users in gaining access to the application, creating container for each command and troubleshooting problems with account privileges to function in the application.
• Provide technical support assistance to Drug Detection and Deterrence on updates and maintenance of Navy Drug System Program (NDSP), Web Drug Testing Portal (WEBDTP) and DTP Lite
• Communicate well both orally and in writing. Demonstrate ability to use computers, Local Area Network (LAN) communication and MS Office software products to include Outlook, Word, Access, Excel and multi-media software programs.
• Provide administrative assistance to develop training guides, SOPs and tools within the Drug and Alcohol systems.
• Compile technical reports that provide analysis and comparison of data retrieved from Admits and IFTDTL databases.
• Provide technical support assistance to Drug Detection and Deterrence on updates and maintenance of IFTDTL web portal
• Coordinate with the system hosting facility to research, create and update web reports that retrieves statistical data from the ADMITS database
• Function as the technical point of contact for field users of the IFTDTL web application. Provide assistance to users in completing on-line data entry forms and producing queries using various reports menus.
• Upload incident report data to the database using the web application from Drug and Alcohol Reports (DARS) provided by field users.
• Provide technical assistance to the application users regarding the most effective and efficient automation approaches.
• Process and monitor accounts and associated documentation, maintaining account files of users for accuracy and completeness
• Monitor IFTDTL accounts for commands not using web based results and coordinate with appropriate ADCO’s to contact and register these commands.
• Monitor IFTDTL accounts for commands not utilizing web based results and coordinate with appropriate ADCOs to contact and register those commands without system access.
• Provide assistance to Alcohol and Drug Control Officers (ADCOs) in contacting commands with pending laboratory results, alcohol incidents, screening and treatment results.
• Reconcile data imported from IFTDTL to the ADMITS system to ensure 100% transfer.
• Attend any required NADAP program associated trainings, meetings and conferences conducted at various CONUS/OCONUS site locations.
• Perform other administrative duties within ADMITS, IFDTL, WEBDTP and DTP Lite.
• Perform other administrative duties within ADMITS and the scope of this order.
• Work will be performed at (OPNAV 173) in Millington, TN
• Some limited travel may be required (Length of time and specific locations are upon program, leadership, and Fleet demands to complete various initiatives, briefings, etc.)

Qualifications

• Must be able to obtain US Government Secret Security Clearance
• Personnel must meet the requirements of a National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI) in order to be issued a common access card (CAC)
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent 
• Possess minimum of 5 years of experience in substance abuse policy and programs
• Possess Structured Query Language (SQL) query experience
• Proficient with the Microsoft office suite 
• Ability to effectively and succinctly communicate in writing and verbally 
• Ability to operate office machines, such as photocopiers and scanners, facsimile machines, voice mail systems and personal computers
• Ability to effectively execute in a high demand environment
• Must have excellent communication, phone etiquette, customer service and people skills, as well as be able to multitask and stay organized
• Ability to multi-task and work independently, and have a sharp attention to detail


Working conditions

Working conditions are within a normal office environment.

Physical requirements

Normal office environment mobility; sitting, walking, bending, stooping, standing, lifting a maximum of 25 pounds (greater than 25 pounds requires a two-person lift), turning, pushing.  Normal office dexterity, to include; reaching, handling, grasping, to include typing/keyboard, and phone use.
