Description
Job purpose

To provide assistance with IT assistance for 8-koi; a diverse Florida based service and consulting company that has been providing outstanding results for our clients for over 14-years now.

Duties and responsibilities

A focus on one or more of the following Systems Engineering Functional Areas (Testing, Requirements Analysis, Integration, Specialty Engineering, and Systems Architecture) is expected:  
• Develops, implements, and maintains developmental and operational acceptance test plans, procedures and reports
• Assist team on moderately complex projects or phases of significant projects; coordinates the efforts of technical support staff in the performance of assigned projects
• Analyzes and resolves program support deficiencies 
• Assists in the design and requirements development/verification process
• Identify system architecture needs and assists development of enterprise architecture items to be produced in support of assigned projects such as DODAF drawing generation
• Ensure the as-designed system requirements allocated to the project meet Human Factors and Safety Hazard requirements and develop associated analyses, as required
• Assists in developing and implementing training tools and documentation
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, management information systems, or related STEM field
• Experience in systems engineering (Requirements, Test, specialty engineering, or Systems Architecture) or related engineering field a plus
• Fundamental knowledge of the engineering lifecycle and systems engineering processes
• Experience working with Windows based computer systems, components, and Office tool suite
• The flexibility to work occasional non-duty hours or on weekends to support specific project or mission requirements
• Must be fully vaccinated from the COVID-19 virus, which means two weeks have passed since a single-shot vaccine or the second dose of a two-shot vaccine.  Requests for medical or religious accommodations will be considered on a case-by-case basis
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Security Clearance, which includes U.S. citizenship or U.S. naturalization
• Valid U.S. Driver’s License required
• Not eligible for telecommute

Working conditions

Working conditions are within a normal office environment.

Physical requirements

Normal office environment mobility; sitting, walking, bending, stooping, standing, lifting a maximum of 25 pounds (greater than 25 pounds requires a two-person lift), turning, pushing.  Normal office dexterity, to include; reaching, handling, grasping, to include typing/keyboard, and phone use.
