8-koi is currently pursuing an opportunity that would support NAWCTSD in the Acquisition and Management of Navy Training Services, in Orlando, FL.  This contract will provide support to overarching programs including; Aviation Platforms, Sea Platforms, Undersea Platforms, Schools, Research as well as other programs that fall under NAWCTSD Program Directorates or Competencies.

We are currently targeting an award date in late 2019 with Contract Transition to begin in early 2020.  As is typical in the Government Contracts Arena, Incumbent (current) employees that fit the skill set and compensation metrics, with a successful performance record will be given first right of refusal to retain employment on this contract while new applicants will be considered for all position on an as needed basis.

Authoring System/Web Design Support:

The 8-koi team will produce and review courseware as part of computer-based, web-based, and distributed learning training.

The successful employee(s) will perform the following work:

a. Use commercial software, including authoring and animation programs, to develop interactive courseware and computer assisted instructional materials.

b. Implement logic described in flow charts and other design documents using the capabilities provided by the authoring system.

c. Develop common authoring constructs such as branching, looping, counters, and answer evaluation.

d. Use basic computer system concepts including directory structure, file naming conventions and backup/restoration operations in support of authoring system and web system design.

e. Implement approved changes to existing courseware, using legacy software.

f. Use appropriate industry and government standards and specifications in support of authoring system and web system design.

g. Design and revise courseware for web presentation.

h. Use web development tools, web-authoring tools, graphics design tools, and scripting languages in the design, creation, deployment and maintenance of web pages and web sites.

i. Implement and maintain learning management system software for computer-based, web-based, and distributed learning training.

j. Prepare the following Products/Documents/Reports: Products/ Documents/Reports, including Interactive Courseware, Animation, Desk-top Simulation, Computer Aided Instruction (CAI), Computer Based Training (CBT), Web-based Training, Computer Managed Instruction (CMI), Learning Management System (LMS) Inputs.
