Description

8-koi is currently pursuing an opportunity that would support NAWCTSD in the Acquisition and Management of Navy Training Services, in Orlando, FL.  This contract will provide support to overarching programs including; Aviation Platforms, Sea Platforms, Undersea Platforms, Schools, Research as well as other programs that fall under NAWCTSD Program Directorates or Competencies.

We are currently targeting an award date in late 2019 with Contract Transition to begin in early 2020.  As is typical in the Government Contracts Arena, Incumbent (current) employees that fit the skill set and compensation metrics, with a successful performance record will be given first right of refusal to retain employment on this contract while new applicants will be considered for all position on an as needed basis.

Mass Communications/Tech Writer Support:

The 8-koi team will support the PAO with internal and external communications as well as technical writing. Mass communications include the scripting of announcements within the organization as well as announcements, articles, web posts, and scripting for release by the PAO.

Navy technical writing includes developing and editing traditional paper publications and emerging

levels of electronic technical writing. In order to accomplish the scope of work, the Contractor shall have the expertise and ability (personnel, equipment, and facilities) to furnish the required support and products. The selected team will support by performing the following work:

a. Script announcements to be released via electronic or paper-based media.

b. Interview and develop news articles for internal or external press release.

c. Assist in the publishing of official visit agendas and provide escort and event coordination.

d. Analyze new and existing program requirements and engineering changes.

e. Integrate multi-format technical data.

f. Assist in video recording and production.

g. Perform digital photography services.

h. Plan and develop visual information products.
