8-koi is currently pursuing an opportunity that would support NAWCTSD in the Acquisition and Management of Navy Training Services, in Orlando, FL.  This contract will provide support to overarching programs including; Aviation Platforms, Sea Platforms, Undersea Platforms, Schools, Research as well as other programs that fall under NAWCTSD Program Directorates or Competencies.

We are currently targeting an award date in late 2019 with Contract Transition to begin in early 2020.  As is typical in the Government Contracts Arena, Incumbent (current) employees that fit the skill set and compensation metrics, with a successful performance record will be given first right of refusal to retain employment on this contract while new applicants will be considered for all position on an as needed basis.

Program Director for Research and Technology-- 4.6T

The successful candidate will support life cycle acquisition efforts of 4.6T. This program directorate requires support for the table of research and development domains and laboratories listed below.

The employee will support efforts associated with science and technology and R&D contributing knowledge to the theoretical underpinnings of human factors and human performance. The PD 4.6T contributes to a wide range of training and operational applications. The Research and Technology Program Office provides centralized management and executive direction for the NAWCTSD research and development (R&D) mission.

This mission includes: the planning and performance of a full range of directed research in support of Naval training systems for all warfare areas and platforms; maintaining an expanding Navy-critical technology base; and transitioning research results to the fleet and other NAWCTSD customers. The Research & Technology Directorate mission also requires the management and execution of an active technology transfer program that transitions Department of Defense (DOD) developed technologies to other government agencies such as the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and to the public domain, and includes cooperative support of R&D activities with the Army and Air Force.
