8-koi is currently pursuing an opportunity that would support NAWCTSD in the Acquisition and Management of Navy Training Services, in Orlando, FL. This contract will provide support to overarching programs including; Aviation Platforms, Sea Platforms, Undersea Platforms, Schools, Research as well as other programs that fall under NAWCTSD Program Directorates or Competencies.
We are currently targeting an award date in late 2019 with Contract Transition to begin in early 2020. As is typical in the Government Contracts Arena, Incumbent (current) employees that fit the skill set and compensation metrics, with a successful performance record will be given first right of refusal to retain employment on this contract while new applicants will be considered for all position on an as needed basis.

Training Systems Support:
Training system support consists of providing knowledge and expertise in the operation, employment, maintenance, or repair of systems, subsystems, or equipment related to military training systems. The 8-koi team’s duties will consist of, but are not limited to the following duties:
a. Assure the technical and operational accuracy of the subject matter undergoing training product development.
b. Support the Instructional Systems Analysts in identifying/validating training requirements.
c. Support the Industrial/Organizational (I/O) Psychologist in developing human performance metrics.
d. Develop target audience learning profiles.
e. Provide technical expertise in developing straw man task lists to expedite the task analysis process.
f. Guide the conduct of task analysis workshops.
g. Support the Instructional Systems Analyst in determining the most appropriate courseware presentation and media for the subject matter.
h. Provide consultation concerning the level of difficulty of assessment items.
i. Develop POA&M(s), research proposals, research designs and strategies, progress reports, and prepare final reports.
j. Serve as advisor and consultant to various NAWCTSD Orlando acquisition functions and other Navy and DOD organizations on matters relating to instructional technologies and methodologies.
k. Communicate with professionals in the field of military and industrial training and transfer the advances in instructional technology for collecting and evaluating data to assigned tasks.
l. Provide guidance for meetings and conferences to coordinate research efforts and to provide an interface with other technical codes of NAWCTSD Orlando and other training activities and agencies.
