Job purpose

To be the primary onsite electrical leader, directly managing field operations and driving high stakes commercial and federal power projects for 8-koi; a diverse Florida based service company that has been providing outstanding results for our clients for over 18 years now.
The Electrical Superintendent will lead a complex electrical installation, direct subcontractor crews, and maintain zero-tolerance safety. Working with a company that values passion, excellence, dependability and thoughtfulness, your expertise ensures mission-critical systems execute flawlessly.

Duties and responsibilities

  • Oversee daily field operations to ensure complex electrical systems install strictly to plans and codes.
  • Supervise, schedule, and coordinate diverse onsite electrical crews and specialized subcontractors.
  • Enforce rigorous electrical safety protocols and continuous compliance with NFPA 70E and OSHA regulations.
  • Interface directly with owners, engineers, and municipal inspectors to resolve electrical design or site issues.
  • Monitor electrical schedules, conduct/wire deliveries, and resource allocations to eliminate project delays.
  • Maintain comprehensive daily site logs, safety inspection reports, and electrical operational transparency.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 - 7 years of dedicated electrical superintendent or supervisory field management experience.
  • Proven track record leading complex commercial, industrial, or federal electrical construction sites.
  • Deep operational expertise in high/voltage distribution, switchgear, controls, and conduit installation
  • Excellent communication, crew leadership, and high-stakes troubleshooting capabilities on active job sites.
  • Travel Required.
  • Preferred to have a Journeyman Electrical License.
  • Active OSHA 30 certification and NFPA 70E safety training.
  • Previous experience managing federal ID/IQ or government facility electrical infrastructure contracts.
